VIDEO: Interviews With The Cast of ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ In London
The new Star Trek film Into Darkness picks up with a new danger affecting the crew of the Enterprise. They are faced with an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization, which leads Captain Kirk to begin a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture possibly the worst threat they have ever faced.
Paramount Pictures invited me to fly to London, England to interview the cast of the film. And seriously, how can you say no to that? The answer: you can’t. And I didn’t.
I talked with Zachary Quinto about the fact that he has to shave his eyebrows to play Mr. Spock and he told me that he had eyebrow merkins made. If you don’t know what a merkin is, it might be better that way. I also had a great time talking with Benedict Cumberbatch who plays the movie’s villain, John Harrison. He told me how he had to escape the fun of the set, to get into the evil mindset of his character. We also discussed the Internet meme of otters that look like him. Zoe Saldana told me what learning Klingon was like, and director JJ Abrams told me about how excited he was to take on the new Star Wars movie.
